We build in homes people are still living in.
Custom remodeling and renovation across Annapolis and Anne Arundel County — planned in detail before demolition starts, scheduled honestly, and kept clean while you are still living there.
What we build
Whole rooms, whole floors,
and the outside of the house.
Kitchen remodeling
Layout changes, custom and semi-custom cabinetry, stone counters, and the electrical and plumbing behind them.
Bathroom renovation
Full gut renovations and accessible conversions — curbless pans, linear drains, tile set to last.
Basement finishing
Framing, insulation, egress, and a finished trim package that reads like the rest of the house.
Decks & screened porches
Mahogany, composite and pressure-treated structures built for Chesapeake weather and permitted properly.
Additions & whole-home
Adding square footage, or reworking the floor plan you already have. We work alongside your architect or bring one in.
Millwork & built-ins
Solid-wood doors, stair parts, fireplace surrounds and built-in cabinetry made to fit the opening you actually have.
Retirement & condo residences
Resident units inside Annapolis retirement communities, condominiums and apartment buildings — renovated around the building's rules, not against them.
Commercial & occupied facilities
Medical and professional offices, senior living communities and common areas, phased so the doors stay open while the work happens.

Where a lot of our work happens
Retirement communities, condominiums and apartments.
A large share of our work is inside Annapolis condominium buildings, continuing-care retirement communities and apartment buildings — places with elevator reservations, quiet hours, shared corridors, a management office that wants a certificate of insurance before anyone opens a toolbox, and a neighbor on the other side of the wall.
These are not really job sites. They are people's homes, and the people are still living in them. We have renovated dozens of occupied residences under exactly those conditions.
- Resident units — kitchens, baths, flooring and full interior renovations
- Accessibility — curbless showers, grab-bar blocking set in framing, workable clearances
- Common areas — lobbies, corridors, lounges and shared spaces
- Building management — insurance certificates, access procedures, elevator bookings and quiet-hour rules
Commercial
Renovation that doesn't close the building.
Medical and professional offices, senior living communities and other facilities that cannot simply shut down while the work happens. We plan the renovation around your operations rather than the other way around.
Phased construction
Work broken into stages so a suite, a floor or a wing comes back online before the next one opens up.
Noise and access
Managing how construction affects movement through the building, and scheduling the loud work into agreed windows.
Communication planning
Schedules and phase information to staff and leadership before the work starts, rather than after someone notices.
Healthcare coordination
Planning around patient care, privacy, staff workflows and the appointment calendar.
How a project runs
Five stages, in this order.
Most of what goes wrong on a remodel goes wrong before anyone picks up a hammer. So we spend the time up front.
Site visit
We come out, look at the space, and listen to what is not working. No charge, no obligation.
Scope & estimate
A written scope broken out by trade, with materials, labor and allowances itemized — not a single lump-sum number.
Selections & schedule
Every decision you need to make gets a date attached, so a tile choice never becomes the reason the job sits still.
Build
One point of contact, a site that gets swept, and an honest weekly update on where the schedule actually stands.
Punch & closeout
We walk it with you, write the list, and finish the list. Warranty and paperwork handed over at the end.
What clients say
Reviews.

Troy kept the project on target and within budget… never had a more pleasant experience…ever!”Geof L. · Detached garage with second-floor office · via Houzz
“We have an 1880 home in the Historic District of Annapolis… Their commitment to excellence is outstanding. The prices are fair and the work ethic is the best I have seen in many years.”Charlotte Schmickle · Historic District, Annapolis · via Houzz
“He has renovated our kitchen, two bathrooms, basement, and deck. He and his team are the consummate professionals — arriving on time and cleaning up at the end of the day… We wouldn't work with anybody else.”K. Keuleman · Repeat client over several years · via Houzz
